A MESSAGE FROM RUSS

Our November meeting will be at the IBEW office on the 8th, at our usual time of 6:30pm.  

There is no specific challenge for November, it is an opportunity to bring items for the Own Your Own sale at the Sangre de Christo Art gallery. This is our primary fund raiser each year and is very important in generating funds for our guest demonstrators that cost us in the neighborhood of $400 each. Jess and Lois will catalog the items and submit them to SdC for the event which runs from December 8- 30. 

As always, don't forget to bring any other turnings or art you would like to share; the variety keeps getting better and better although as Van has mentioned, we could use more member participation. 

As always, keep up the good work on providing items for the Raffle Table- they are very much appreciated and have been substantial each month. 

 I will be bringing refreshments and I look forward to seeing everyone on the 11th.  

Note: Our experience at Grahams' Grill has been frustrating for the last few months, so it was suggested we try Applebees which is in the same shopping center to see if we can get better service there. So for November, let's use that destination for our early meal at 4:30.
